POPCON ASIA 2014!

19-21 September kemarin saya ikut meramaikan Popcon bersama teman-teman dari grup Kelir Buku Anak. It's been a very magical experience! Ketemu langsung banyak banget ilustrator favorit, yang karyanya super menginspirasi. Dan berikut hasil liputan foto-fotonya :D

Popcon juga mengadakan Fanart Challenge untuk tahun ini. Atas ajakan anak-anak Kelir, kita masing-masing ikutan, dan ga nyangka banget fanart saya menjadi salah satu pemenangnya! Berikut ini fanartnya dan barang jualan yang khusus saya buat untuk Popcon~ :D

Illustration_Commision

A little commision i made as a request of my friend's friend wedding.
And sadly, i can't take any other commision at the moment since i've becoming a graduate student this September. Yep, i'm taking a graduate program majoring in Business Management. *haha yeah it's a very unknown territory for me* Wish me luck! :)

Heee hooo~

Since last year, i do some commisioned illustration for short story in Sekar magazine. It's a good thing to "runaway" after a busy deadline schedule in 3D advert. and i really like it. Feels like summer breeze in the sea of suffering. Sadly, i heard that Sekar is closing their magazine, since they can't reach some advertising goal. This is my last illustration i did for them. For mba Uwi, even though i never met you, it's been a really nice experience working with you. :')

Kantorku bekerja Geppetto3d ingin masukin post tentang halloween in facebook. Jadi voila! aku iseng gambarin tema Halloween yang berasal dari monster-monster yang pernah aku desain. Monster-monsternya sebenernya untuk ide post natal, tapi karena temen kerja ada yang punya ide lebih bagus, jadi dehh monster-monsternya buat halloween aja.. hehe :)

A little "some can call super" while ago.. I make illustrations for children book in Ehipassiko publication. The story is about Buddhism.. Each illustration has different story, and for the instruction they asked for a different style also. So here we are.. Jataka and Mahasavaka..

Throwback a couple months ago my friend ask me to help him modelling a shoe for his exhibition. For a very tight deadline, i have to create this shoe from modelling until texturing it for finishing. RPAL RPSL

Hi,

Inget ga buku RPSL dan RPAL yang dulu jaman SD jadi tugas sekolah tiap hari.
Hahaha.. bertahun-tahun kemudian dan voila.. dapet tawaran bikin covernya.. dan ini beberapa sketch awalnya.

Dari banyaknya revisi akhirnya, banyak yang dirombak abis.. *makin terbiasa ama yang namanya revisi*

TVC Morinaga_Concept Art

Hi, :) 

This is a concept design i did for a Morinaga tvc a little while ago.. they want to create an environment fit for their character Chila & Chilo. There are several design for different environment and different kind of jobs. For example the astronauts in outer space, architect in the city, or the soccer player in the field. Then i create the 3D based on this design, animate chila chilo dancing in this environment. I had a lot of fun doing this project.. hehe

 

And the last one, Robot design.. But the client change their mind about the robot, so this one is just for my blog.. ;)

I don't think i can miss this moment and not putting it in my blog. Well, recently i got news that "The Lonely Goddess" is selected as one of the best animated films in "SayFestVille Short Film Competition". Yippie! :D

Water Baby Workouts

Yep, if there is an award for the laziest person to update their blog, i think i'll be landed in first place. You have the promise pam! and you broke it! yeah.. okay.. from now on i'll make another promise!! i'll update my blog "at least" every month! yes! *fingercrossed* Pray for me God, ;p

so, here are a few new illustrations i did for "Ayahbunda" magazine.. thanks to my friend, Monic, I can do some freelancing there. it's quite a nice trip away from 3D. Nice trip indeed! hehe

A few lost seconds

Hi, it's been a while!

Many things happened and changed this year.. Starting my first job after school, thinking about my future (which takes a hell lot of time), thinking about life (yeah, i know)

Sometimes i feel like i'm overthinking things. Maybe because of my age, i make things difficult just simply because i over thinking what should be easy. Transition between school and job seems hard. I know i can't be that "mommy's girl" anymore, i have to be a mature grown up woman. I have responsibility for my money, job, and my action. Yeah, it's time.

Changing is hard, but people adapted and move on.

To fill this post, i added some ilustration i did in this few lost seconds of my blog post.

Some are from a children book i collaborate with my sister's friend and some are just a free-time

filling. it's not a grand masterpiece, but at least i do something when my head is about to blow.

Fresh n Brite 2010

Hi, has been grateful since I've got a fantastic grade for my short film "the lonely goddess". :)

and it's been a tradition in Binus University to make annual Final Project Exhibition "Fresh n Brite", which this year will take place in Gandaria City 04-07 November 2010.

Update on "The Lonely Goddess"

It's almost finished!! :))

This are a few spoilers for the video..

The challenges are to make the day and night.. choosing the right colour to representating "day" isn't that much easy.. and also don't forget to mention the "emotion" part..

Really bothering me to make the "emotion".. but, it's finally finished.. just a few couple more adjustment to make it complete..
